HMD is continuing its rebranding efforts for existing Nokia models, and the spotlight is now on the flip phone with the model number TA-1420, also known as the Nokia 2780 Flip.
According to FCC documents, important details about the device have been revealed, including photos, test results, and a declaration of changes. While the phone has largely remained the same, there have been a few modifications. HMD has upgraded the OS from KaiOS 3.0 to KaiOS 3.1, updated the wallpapers and UI, added a lanyard hole, and removed both Bluetooth and the Nokia logo from the battery and charging screen. The battery now features an HMD logo in pink, which also appears on the screen when the phone is charging.
